Cincinnati Civic Garden Center

For my degree's capstone class, ENGL 5095, my team, a combination of both undergraduate and graduate students, chose to work with the Cincinnati Civic Garden Center. Over the course of the semester, our team created print promotional materials including a brochure and volunteer postcard, wrote community profiles and blog posts with corresponding social media posting schedules, and reorganized their existing website to include the newly created content.

I was chosen to lead the Web Reorganization branch of my team. I met with our client multiple times to develop a plan to reorganize their website in a more intuitive, user-friendly way. I collaborated with the organization and my team to create four sitemaps to perfect the structure and then used the WordPress platform to alter their content. My team also created a redesigned homepage wireframe and visual prototype, took photographs for the organization, and added the blog content that the rest of the team produced. At the end of the semester, the entire team created a complete binder of materials for the client and delivered a presentation to them to explain all of the content.
